Nice spot to have dinner at if you’re in Dumbo. The restaurant has a quiet and relaxed vibe to it which we really appreciated after a long day of exploring Brooklyn. The food was pretty good and we were served quickly. We tried the Penne alla vodka which were very saucy and the scallops with spinach which I highly recommend.
Saw this place from the outside and I just knew it was going to be a solid spot. I was right. Beautiful interiors bright me in, but the prompt, friendly service and delicious food told me this was the right choice. The gnocchi with short braised ribs was so freaking good. The burger was juicy and tasty. Solid spot for conversation with friends. Enjoy
The menu is broken up into sections by styles of cocktail so you can easily choose a cocktail. There is beer and wine as well. Happy hour on weekdays. Most cocktails are 14. I got the six ways till Sunday and it’s very well balanced and delicious for an alcohol forward cocktail. I would come back. Ambience is very sleek and sexy yet classic. Service is nice and knowledgeable about cocktails.

Water St. Tavern is underrated in my opinion. The experience is relaxed, modern industrial, and charming with their interior and friendly FAST service. Do you like jazz? Good. Live jazz every Thursday. A decently creative menu that will please every palette. AND their dinner menu DELIVERS on flavor and etiquette. Ty was my server and the 2.5 hours spent here felt like a small getaway from burnout. Chef’s kiss on the menu options, the lighting, music, and vibes. I will be back certainly.
Great neighborhood bar to stop by for a cocktail! Went on a Friday night around 10:30 and there was room to sit but still a crowd. Will definitely be back soon.
Just visited here impromptu, without booking on a Friday night, while visiting NYC on holiday. It was very quiet so I was slightly concerned but I needn’t have been. It has a great vibe, cosy lighting, awesome laid back tunes and the food was absolutely lovely. We were a little disappointed that the Porterhouse steak for two wasn’t available but husband and son had steak frites instead and it was amazing. I had the scallops and mussels and daughter a pasta dish. All of us were very impressed. Would recommend.
Stopped in for drinks, talked to the very knowledgeable bartender about the craft of each cocktail. You could tell he loved it. They were delicious!
